About Sustainable Agriculture Through Agroecology (SATA)

Sustainable Agriculture Through Agroecology (SATA) is a non-governmental organization committed to promoting ecological farming practices. Established in 2021 and operating at both national and regional levels, SATA emerged from research consultancy services provided in Uganda since 2019. Founded by three students from Uganda Martyrs University, SATA was created to address the knowledge gap among farmers regarding sustainable agroecological intensification practices.
